We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate and experienced Apiarists for the delivery of our Part Time Apiculture Level 3 course. We are searching for new locations to offer this course to their local community, but we need your help to do this.

This course would be run one day a fortnight, in the weekend, face to face with additional learning, assessment and marking being completed through our online learning platform.

This role would suit an Apiarist who is running their own hives and is passionate about passing on skills and knowledge to others and could be undertaken in conjunction with your existing apiary interests.

Land Based Training is an NZQA Category 1 Provider, delivering a range of Vocational and Foundation level programmes throughout Aotearoa.

The successful applicant must be able to facilitate engaging teaching and learning to a group of Beekeeping students who might vary in age, gender, cultural backgrounds and learning abilities.

The position requires you to:

• Be an experienced Apiarist who is keen to pass on knowledge and support students in their learning
• Engage and excite learners, make learning fun and interactive; your learners will want to come back for more.
• Have good computer literacy and administration skills and be a great communicator
• Be professional, committed and a have a positive approach to adult education
