Our staff have proven practical backgrounds in their subject areas such as farm consultants, practical beef, sheep and dairy farmers, DOC trained pest control practitioners, apiarists, horticulturalists, business owners, builders and infrastructure specialists. The breadth of skills and experience within the Land Based Training team ensures we can deliver in a way that is flexible, current and innovative.

We take the learning to our students by delivering programmes across more than 40 sites throughout New Zealand from small regional communities to the larger cities to ensure all of our trainees have an equal opportunity to succeed.

Our mission statement is as relevant today as it was when we first started in 1996. We are aiming to inspire our students with skills and knowledge through vocational education and training.
