We welcomed our first Manawatu Land Based Training Field day on the 21st of October!
This was a great opportunity for potential and current students to be able to get a taste for all the different courses being showcased. With demonstrations of Shearing and Mustering Sheep, our team with course-related activities and giveaways, and City Honda showcasing their Farming Vehicles in support of us there was lots to see and do. So many options were being showcased we hope that this has enticed people and furthered their education in pursuit of a career in the rural sector.
“The day was a huge success; it was great to see past students passing on their enthusiasm and knowledge to potential students and even to our attendees who were fascinated by what was being showcased.” – Tim Snape, Operations Manager
A huge thank you goes out to our staff that helped bring the day together and support the event as well as to all the industry members and agencies showing their support in Land Based Training and sharing their knowledge.
A special thank you goes out to Lee Ranginui and Joey Smith for gathering everyone together in supporting this event, and to Lee for providing us with the space and resources to make this event possible!
